Chapter two · The visit

Questions before a yes

A good visit checks whether epitalon makes sense for you instead of selling it to you. Take these questions along, so you learn who is treating you, what proof there is, which pharmacy is involved and what it all costs.

Four empty squares align with long green lines, suggesting questions that still need answers.
Good care leaves a trail: the name of the person treating you, a real back-and-forth about your health, the pharmacy's name and a complete price.

Visit shape

What real telehealth care involves

As of September 2026, the clinician treating you (a doctor or other licensed health professional) generally needs a license from the state where you are sitting during the appointment, or that state's permission to treat you there.

Each state writes its own rules, and they differ.

A video visit owes you the same quality of care as an in-person one.

A form can begin the conversation. A tick-box form that never comes back to you with a single question does not count as a proper look at your health, says the federation that speaks for state medical boards.

Where this comes fromThe medical boards' guidance on online care

  1. A

    Place and person

The service confirms where the patient is and identifies the clinician.

  2. B

    Health history

The clinician asks about the concern, health history, medicines and supplements.

  3. C

    Follow-up

The format allows questions in both directions instead of ending at a sales form.

  1. D

    Missing information

If a test or hands-on exam is needed, the clinician who would write the prescription arranges it or sends the patient to someone who can.

  2. E

    A real decision

The answer may be a different plan or no prescription at all.

  3. F

    Named source

Before payment, the service identifies the pharmacy that would make and send the product.

Verify

Check the two licences separately

The clinician and the pharmacy have different public records. A polished website is not a substitute for either one.

Use the state medical board

State medical boards publish licence status and public discipline records for physicians.

Ingredient

A licence does not settle epitalon

As of September 2026, epitalon does not meet the federal rules for the raw ingredients a pharmacy may use when it mixes a medicine to order for one patient.

Avoid

Three reasons to close the tab

A professional-looking page cannot replace the checks below.

Research label

A chemical offered as care

As of September 2026, a “for research use only” label means the product is not a medicine meant for treating patients.

When a seller also offers mixing water and a dosing guide with the vial, FDA warning letters say that signals the seller knows buyers will inject it.

Dead-end form

No way to ask or answer

The medical boards' guidance says a form that leaves no room for back-and-forth questions falls short of a proper look at your health.

Approval words

Registration dressed up as approval

As of September 2026, a compounded drug, meaning one a pharmacy mixes to order, is not FDA-approved.

A business being registered with the FDA is not the same as the FDA approving anything it makes.

The honest number

No single number can be verified here.

As of September 2026, no epitalon product has been approved, so there is no maker list price or government price to quote.

Any online figure is a quote for an unapproved or research-labelled product, not an official price.
